The Truth About Free Alarm Installations

June 22, 2010

I'm sure you saw the advertisement for systems free home security. These alarm companies promise you a state-of-the-art home security system from almost a thousand dollars in value and you can free it. Of course there is the small print that they are going to, you have a small setup fee and you have a fairly long monitoring arrangement where you pay a monthly fee to sign.

I personally cringe when I see athese ads and I also do a little angry. The reason is that when you have one of these so called "free" home security systems, you can "feel" as you are safe, but are you really know securely installed?

Of course, the system is complete and it will work. But if you look closely you will see that these home security systems only for 2-3 holes. Now I do not know about you, but my house is more than two openings that give burglars can slip through.

If youlive in an apartment upstairs or something, where only a few of the exposed openings, that a burglar was in a ladder or something without getting, then the free home security system is a perfect solution

Now I do not want you to think that you should not with these companies or that they do anything wrong. I believe that even a small security system to protect your most vulnerable openings I no better than having no protection, but on allwould feel safer if all of my openings were protected. If you have more than a couple of holes then, you can explore other options.

How to choose a burglar alarm Company

Before you agree to using a particular alarm company to check their references. Check online for reviews of this security company. Clarify with the BBB to see if there are any complaints. I would even go so far asTo check, review of the actual alarm brands. I feel that some are to install more reliable and easier to use than others, but you should check what other people say about the systems available, know that are real people, not other people in the burglar alarm industry as I do. Let's face it – we look at Intrusion different. I like the features of a system, but it could be difficult for the averagePerson to use. If a security is hard to use, it is less likely to be turned on. In this case, you might as well save your money and do not get.
